Connecting a device

Adding a device to your account takes a few seconds. The device shows a short code; you approve it from your phone or laptop. No typing passwords on the device, and it works even on screenless servers.

How it works

Step by step

  1. On the device, start enrollment.
    • On a desktop, it's in setup or settings — you'll see a code and a link.
    • On a server or edge device, the code and link print to the console.
  2. Open the link and sign in at app.kiki-os.com with any method you like.
  3. Approve the code shown on the device. If you're adding it to a team, switch to that team first.
  4. Done. The device appears under Devices in the dashboard and in the mobile app.

After it's connected

A connected device can:

Removing a device

To remove one, deauthorize it from the dashboard's Devices view or from the device itself. It stops reporting to the cloud and drops out of your account — but keeps working on its own.

Safe by design

  • The code is short-lived and single-use.
  • Approving requires signing in, so only you (or a teammate with the right role) can add a device.
  • Connecting grants visibility and control — not data you didn't share. Your memory, local inference, and ungranted vault folders stay on the device.
